The ImagePDF collection of software components combines a high performance core of archival image file conversion directly to PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) with intuitive high-level componentry.

ImagePDF operates on these types of input image files: TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PCX/DCX, PNM, CALS raster, EDMICS/JEDMICS, JP2, and raw G3 fax. The ImagePDF product supports the widest variety of JPEG compressed TIFF files (OJPEG) of any TIFF-to-PDF conversion product on the market.

ImagePDF is extremely performance intensive, and outperforms nearly any other product on the market in its conversion rate, and no software is known to be faster. ImagePDF is used in installations converting millions of document images.

ImagePDF is used primarily by financial and digital library and archiving concerns for their conversion of documents, as well as by government agencies including the United Kingdom's Public Records Office, and by consultants and contractors around the world incorporating document imaging file conversion into their applications.

ImagePDF is primarily a developer component rather than a user application, and supported development environments include an ActiveX/COM interface for use from Visual Basic, Access, or ASP, a Java interface for use on Solaris, Windows, or Mac OSX, or a command line interface for use on Windows, Solaris, Mac OSX, or Linux.

ImagePDF supports PDF features include bookmarks / outlines, linearization for byte-serving, thumbnail vignettes, image data compression, standard encryption, slideshow mode, information key metadata, and the addition of text annotations to any page of the file for labelling requirements.
