TIFFProp Features
The TIFFProp property sheet shell extension for Microsoft Windows (tm) integrates into the desktop for rapid access to TIFF, Tagged Image File Format, file information and properties of the TIFF file format. This TIFF tag viewer allows ready inspection of the data structure of TIFF files.
The TIFF file structure is displayed in a tree form correctly representing the document structure.
The tags, or fields, are listed by their standard name. Integrated help content is available through standard built-in help functions, pointing to the definitions of the field within the specifications for ready reference. Recognized field names include those of TIFF-EP, TIFF/IT, Adobe DNG, and TIFF-FX.
This can be extremely useful for inspecting and working with the TIFF image files, which vary widely, and was designed in the process of developing software to work with these ubiquitous files. TIFF is a broad standard and there are very many specifications and features of the image data file standard.
